6 Week Adult Functional Pottery Course - Commencing 1st May
During this course you will learn a range of hand building and surface decoration techniques. In this 6 week course creations will include mugs, plates and a butter dish.
Each week will have a project covering a variety of skills that can be interpreted in your own personal style. Pieces will be kiln fired and ready for collection 2-3 weeks later. This course is suitable for beginners and those with some pottery experience.
A bit about your tutor - Deborah Clarke completed a degree in Ceramics at Bath Spa University College in 1999. She has over 25 years experience working with clay and has exhibited in London and across the South West.
Course commences from 1.30pm to 3.30pm. Course dates are Thursdays 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd May and 5th, 12th June at Dorset Craft Workshops, 3 The Mews, Durngate Street, Dorchester.
There is a small step into the studio and at present has not got access for wheelchairs. The Tolpuddle evening classes have good wheel chair access.
Refunds on classes are not available if cancelled less than 14 days before the course commences.
