4th June 26, flower bowl pottery class in Somerton, Somerset
On this two hour class you will be able to create a poppy, sunflower or other type of sculptural flower bowl. You may even add a ladybird or caterpillar.
Suitable for beginners and more experienced. I will give a demo of how to create the flower, building up petals and adding details, helping you achieve your design ideas. You will be able to add vibrant engobe colours to the piece.
Pieces will be kiln fired and will be ready about 3 weeks later. Class is from 2pm to 4pm at ACEarts, The Old Town Hall, Market Pl, Somerton, TA11 7NB.
There is a cafe on site offering a range of delicious cakes. I have many stamps and textures in a variety of themes at my studio. If you have a particular theme you wish to include please email me so I can bring everything you need to create the piece with your personality.
